Greg Maffei oversees the Liberty family of companies as they compete in the digital mobile era.  Liberty's stocks have consistently outperformed the indexes and peers. Liberty Media ranked #8 in Fortune’s 2021 World’s Most Admired Companies in the Media & Entertainment Industry.

Maffei serves as President and CEO of Liberty Media Corporation, which owns media and entertainment businesses, including subsidiaries Formula 1, SiriusXM and the Atlanta Braves, and an interest in Live Nation Entertainment.  He is President and CEO of Liberty Broadband Corporation, which consists primarily of a 25% voting stake in Charter Communications and subsidiary GCI, and is President and CEO of Liberty Media Acquisition Corporation, a newly incorporated blank check company formed for the purpose of effecting a merger, capital stock exchange, asset acquisition, stock purchase, reorganization or similar business combination with one or more businesses. Maffei also serves as Chairman and CEO of Liberty TripAdvisor, which holds a controlling interest in TripAdvisor.

In addition, Maffei serves as Executive Chairman of Qurate Retail, Inc., which owns digital commerce businesses, including subsidiaries QVC, HSN, Zulily and the Cornerstone Brands.  Maffei also serves as Chairman of the Liberty-related companies Live Nation Entertainment, SiriusXM and TripAdvisor, and as a Director of Charter Communications and Zillow.

Prior to joining Liberty in 2005, Maffei served as Co-President of Oracle, Chairman and CEO of 360networks, and CFO of Microsoft.  He has also served as a Director of Barnes & Noble, Citrix, DIRECTV, Dorling Kindersley, Electronic Arts and Starbucks and was Chairman of Expedia and Starz.

Maffei is a member of the Board of Trustees of Dartmouth College and Council on Foreign Relations.  He has an MBA from Harvard Business School, where he was a Baker Scholar, and an AB from Dartmouth College.

Courtnee Chun serves as Chief Portfolio Officer for Liberty Media Corporation, Qurate Retail. Inc., Liberty TripAdvisor Holdings, Inc., Liberty Broadband Corporation and Liberty Media Acquisition Corporation. As Chief Portfolio Officer, Ms. Chun is responsible for monitoring and enhancing the operating performance of many of the Liberty portfolio companies. She is also the primary contact for investors, analysts and the press and leads the LibertyGives Foundation, a non-profit organization which supports causes benefitting underprivileged and at-risk youth in Colorado. Ms. Chun has been with Liberty since February 2008. Previously. Ms. Chun served as VP Opportunity Development at Level 3, Chief Financial Officer at New Global Telecom and prior to these roles received extensive transaction experience through corporate development work at FirstWorld Communications and investment banking at JP Morgan.

Ms. Chun is a director of Central Garden and Pet and previously was a director of LendingTree, Inc., Expedia Group, Inc., and HSN, Inc. She holds a BA in Economics (with honors) and Math from Claremont McKenna College, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.

Albert E. Rosenthaler serves as Chief Corporate Development Officer of Liberty Media Corporation, Qurate Retail, Inc., Liberty TripAdvisor Holdings, Inc., Liberty Broadband Corporation and Liberty Media Acquisition Corporation. As Chief Corporate Development Officer, Mr. Rosenthaler is responsible for identifying and pursuing investment and other opportunities and assists in setting strategic direction to maximize shareholder value. Mr. Rosenthaler has been with Liberty since April 2002 and most recently served as Liberty’s Chief Tax Officer before taking on his current role in October 2016.

Mr. Rosenthaler serves as a director of Liberty TripAdvisor and TripAdvisor. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Olivet College and a Master of Accounting Science from the University of Illinois.

Brian J. Wendling is Chief Accounting Officer & Principal Financial Officer of Liberty Media Corporation, Qurate Retail, Inc., Liberty Broadband Corporation and Liberty Media Acquisition Corporation. He is also Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Liberty TripAdvisor Holdings, Inc. Mr. Wendling has held various positions with these companies and their predecessors since 1999. Prior to joining these companies, he worked in the assurance practice of the accounting firm, KPMG.

Mr. Wendling has previously served on the boards of Fun Technologies Inc. and CommerceHub, Inc. He also serves on the board of Clothes to Kids of Colorado. Mr. Wendling received his Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Indiana University.

RENEE WILM 

Renee L. Wilm serves as Chief Legal Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Liberty Media Corporation, Qurate Retail, Inc., Liberty TripAdvisor Holdings, Inc., Liberty Broadband Corporation and Liberty Media Acquisition Corporation. Ms. Wilm is responsible for managing legal and regulatory matters, providing strategic support across departments and supervising the day-to-day operations of our parent companies. Previously, Ms. Wilm was a Senior Partner with the law firm Baker Botts L.L.P., where she represented Liberty and its predecessors for over twenty years, specializing in mergers and acquisitions, complex capital structures and shareholder arrangements, as well as securities offerings and matters of corporate governance and securities law compliance. At Baker Botts, Ms. Wilm was a member of the Executive Committee, the East Coast Corporate Department Chair and Partner-in-Charge of the New York office.

Ms. Wilm holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with High Honors in Finance from Hofstra University and a Juris Doctorate degree from St. John’s University School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude and served as the Executive Articles Editor of the St. John’s Law Review.  Ms. Wilm serves on the Board of Advisors for the Fashion, Arts, Media & Entertainment Law Center at Cardozo Law School, Gala Committee of St. Mary’s Academy and Teach for America Central Florida Advisory Board.

Ben Oren is Senior Vice President and Treasurer of Liberty Media Corporation, Qurate Retail, Inc., Liberty TripAdvisor Holdings, Inc., Liberty Broadband Corporation and Liberty Media Acquisition Corporation. Mr. Oren spent the previous twenty years in various investment banking roles. Most recently, Mr. Oren was a Managing Director with Credit Suisse, where he advised companies across multiple sectors including Technology, Media and Telecom on a broad set of capital markets transactions. At Credit Suisse, Mr. Oren was a member of the Investment Banking Committee, Corporate Insights Advisory Counsel, Capital Markets Innovation Counsel, and Americas Head of Liability Management. Prior to Credit Suisse, Mr. Oren was an Executive Director at UBS Securities, LLC. Mr. Oren holds a BS in Economics from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.

Ajay Menon

Dr. Menon has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Colorado State University Research Foundation (“CSURF”) since October 2019, where he is responsible for the protection, management and commercialization of intellectual property resulting from research at Colorado State University (“CSU”) and oversees the services that CSURF provides to both CSU and institutions affiliated with CSU. Dr. Menon served as Dean of CSU’s College of Agricultural Sciences and director of the Colorado Agriculture Experiment Station from July 2015 until August 2019. Dr. Menon served as Dean of CSU’s College of Business from July 2002 until June 2015. Dr. Menon’s teaching and research expertise lie in the areas of international marketing, new product development and management and strategic market planning. From November 2011 to August 2013, as appointed by the Governor of Colorado, Dr. Menon served as the state’s first Chief Innovation Officer. In that role, he helped establish and lead the Colorado Innovation Network to develop an ecosystem in Colorado that cultivates entrepreneurial and innovative activities. Dr. Menon has also served as a director on the boards of directors or advisors to for-profit and nonprofit organizations including the Colorado Innovation Network, Junior Achievement — Rocky Mountain, Inc., Colorado National Bancorp, World’s Fresh Waters, Chile, Convera Corp., Women’s Vision Foundation, Envirofit Corp. and the Better Business Bureau of Northern Colorado. Mr. Menon holds a Ph.D. in Marketing and joined CSU in 1991 as a member of the Marketing Department faculty.

Mr. Welsh has served as the President of Avalon Capital Partners LLC, an investment firm, since 2002. He served as a director of CIP Management LLC from October 2000 to December 2002 and as Managing Director and Vice-Chairman of the Board of SkyTel Communications, Inc. from 1992 to 1999. Prior to 1992, Mr. Welsh was Managing Director of Investment Banking of Prudential Securities, Inc. and Co-Head of the Mergers and Acquisitions Department.   Mr. Welsh has served as a director of Liberty Broadband since November 2014 and as a director of General Cable Corp. from 1997 to June 2018 and Chairman of the Board from August 2001 to June 2018. He also served as a director of Spreckels Industries, Inc. and York International, Inc. from 1996 to 2000, and Integrated Electrical Services Corp. from 2006 to 2013.

Geoffrey Y. Yang

Mr. Yang has served as a founding partner and Managing Director of Redpoint Ventures (a global private equity and venture capital firm based in Menlo Park, California) since 1999. Mr. Yang also serves as CEO and founder of Performance Health Sciences (d/b/a Apeiron Life), located in Menlo Park, California. Prior to founding Redpoint, Mr. Yang previously served as a General Partner with Institutional Venture Partners (a private equity and venture capital firm in Menlo Park, California), which he joined in 1987. Mr. Yang has over 35 years of experience in the venture capital industry and has helped found or served on the boards of a variety of consumer media, internet, and infrastructure companies. Mr. Yang also has served as a director to the boards of directors of AT&T Inc. since June 2016 and Franklin Resources, Inc. since March 2011. Mr. Yang holds a B.S.E. in engineering from Princeton University and an M.B.A. from Stanford University.
